big flow rate sand filter use anthracite and quartz sand as filtering media. Anthracite can adsord and intercept oil and suspended solids in the water, because it has bigger superficial area, stronger adsorption capacity, bigger sewage interception. And quartz sand does further and cleaner filtering because of its bigger density, smaller heaping pore, better interception. So that they can fully filled all the filter bed, maximum intercept sewage, reaching the function of cleaning oil and suspended solids.
We fill anthracite on upside layer, and fill quartz sand on lower layer. Those Scattered and small soluble oil can be adsorbed on surface of anthracite, becoming oil particle, floating to the top side of filter. Suspended is held up by anthracite and quartz sand. Raw water runs though water distribution system, through filter layers and captation, being outletting through filter bottom. And layers have to be back washed when we get dirty outlet water. Water supply for back washing will be lead-in from lower, with pressure air impacting close filter medias, making the medias do mutual friction cleaning, then flushing sewage out of filter.
Filter is made of steel vessel, distributor, captation. The water supply inside are like a bell, to protect small solids from leaking when back washing. Bells are placed higher than max. backwashing inflation height. The captations under filter madias are multi-holes caps, supporting filter material, protect them from leaking and protect water and gas distribution well when back washing.
Filter materials are anthracite and quartz sand. Anthracite has stable chemical properties, high strength, and quartz sand has big density, also high strength, close layer. Choose air&water back washing, water and air mixture make filter materials friction, separate sewage away, get clean filter media again.
A .vessel:by reasonable distributors and captations, ensuring distribution and water catchment well and stable. The fasteners inside are all stainless steel, inner and outer body sides all do antiseptic treatment after rust removal.
B. pipe:reasonable arrangement, the pipe flange is made according to GB9119.7-88 standard. Do antiseptic treatment after rust removal.
